Doing this #inktober thing to get out of a drawing rut.

My submission for this years Animation Art Show: Blue Hound the Woofen Toy (punzzzz)
paperpanther:

A wooden toy made by PP’s eimhinssecrettumblr for the upcoming Animation Art Show, which is auctioning off hundreds of lovely pieces in aid of the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation and the ISPCA:
http://www.animationartshow.com/

It also happens to be ‪#‎InternationalBlackDogDay‬, so although he’s not black, you could maybe think about giving this guy a home in the coming weeks, all proceeds going to charity!

We shall also be hosting an animation workshop and demo during the day of the auction on Sunday the 19th of October, so hope to see you all there!

This kid was pretty cute. When I handed him back his book with the drawing inside he didn’t notice it at first, but when he did he tried handing it back to me, thinking I’d made a mistake. His desk buddy then whispered “that’s cool” and the kid got very sheepish looking ha

We made it back from our workshops in Birr Co. Offaly! We got to meet a lot of talented kids, but the highlight was probably when one of the student’s of St Brendan’s Primary School gave us a book he wrote to read during lunchtime. We did a little bit of fan art for one of the characters, and meanwhile he’s well underway on Vol. 2!The screening of the student’s work will be taking place at OFFline Film Festival, so we’ll be busy little panthers over the next week editing all the animation together. In the mean time, be sure to check out their programme for events and other screening events which are taking place!

Please check out the book trailer for my debut picture book ‘A Bed for Bear.’

Animated by Eimhin McNamara at Paper Panther Productions.

We were very happy to be chosen to animate this piece, such charming characters and settings. Can’t wait to get a copy for our library!

A timelapse for a portrait of a bunch of basenji I made for a friend.

"Poutine et le Papillon"
It’s the first real book/series illustration I’ve made.
It is a wedding gift for my uncle, and features his rescue French Bulldog Poutine. First time binding a book (in a rush as usual) so it’s a bit messier than I’d like and I went for an accordion/Jacob’s ladder style bind, so you could stretch out the whole book to see every page if you wanted.
As tis just two pages beyond the album upload limit, I’ve put together the illustrations as a GIF.
You can view a flip through of the actual book here:

Coincidentally it’s International Literacy Day, but here’s a book I made without words. We should be literate when it comes to understanding visuals too though I guess :P

Enjoy!

I made a little picture book as a wedding present for my uncle, featuring his rescue French Bulldog Poutine.
Here is a timelapse of the illustrations. It’s twelve pages long, including the two cover illustrations. Might see about making some more books like this too.

Will be putting up a flip-through of the finished book next, and then the individual illustrations.

Enjoy!
